The menu offered everything from wings and sandwiches to steak. Also, they have a nice restaurant/sports bar (and slot machines of course) right in the hotel. Friends who stayed at other hotels said that it would take them an hour or more each way due to traffic or having to wait for the monorail/bus.
It was a 10 minute walk each way from the room to our booth at the show. Second, the proximity to the LVCC is great. First of all, the free airport shuttle and free internet (without resort fees) saves money. Taking location, price and reviews into consideration I chose the Best Western Mardi Gras. Normally we stay at one of the big hotels on The Strip but knowing that CES draws 125,000+ attendees, I wanted to be close to the convention center so we wouldn't have to rely on the monorail or shuttle buses to get back and forth to the show. We were travelling to Vegas for CES 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and I had to find a few rooms. As the person responsible for logistics and travel for our company, I have come to rely on tripadvisor for honest reviews.
